Gurmeet Dhillon

Gurmeet grew up in Edmonton and graduated with her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2017. Her passion for sport and exercise medicine brought her to Vancouver to complete a Sport Physiotherapy Fellowship at UBC where she had the opportunity to work closely with sport medicine physicians. Gurmeet has worked with UBC Rugby, BC Rugby and currently she is a contract therapist with Rugby Canada.

Gurmeet is pursuing her FCAMPT designation through the accelerated GCOMPT/MRSc program at UBC. She is also in the process of completing her Sport Physiotherapy Canada Certificate. With a strong interest in research, her treatment style is informed by the latest evidence and is rooted in therapeutic exercise utilizing manual therapy and dry needling/IMS as an adjunct.

Gurmeet also holds a position as a research assistant at Simon Fraser University - she is currently working on another running shoe study so she will probably be looking at your shoes when you come in!
