
Mary Stern
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Mary completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. She has further postgraduate training in IMS (dry needling), Clinical Pilates, Advanced Orthopedics, Pelvic Health and Vestibular Rehabilitation. Mary loves treating clients of all ages, injuries and conditions through manual therapy, dry needling and movement analysis. As a registered yoga teacher, she is able to help clients use mindfulness and breathing exercises to bridge awareness to let go of holding patterns and find new movement strategies. She has experience working with competitive athletes, weekend warriors, mva and post-operative patients as well as specializing in Perinatal Orthopedics and Women's Health at BC Women's hospital. Her Diploma in Adult Education from UBC helps her understand how to meet clients where they are at and cultivate a deeper understanding of their bodies. Mary facilitates empowerment and transformation with a compassionate and individualized approach to each patient. When she's not doing what she loves at work she is busy chasing her kids' dance and hockey dreams, doing yoga, meditating, hiking and playing basketball in her cul-de-sac.
