Hugo Li
MASSAGE THERAPIST - RMT
Hugo graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2018. His motivation to become a Registered Massage Therapist originated from a desire to help his wife to manage pain and discomfort after being involved in multiple motor vehicle accidents. Hugo wanted to provide care for her so that she was not tied to a strict regimen of pain medications. Hugo continues to believe that the treatment of soft tissues through massage therapy can help decrease musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction.
Hugo has ample experience treating high performing athletes, including former Olympic swimmers for Team Canada, and helped them to achieve their performance goals. He also treats various conditions that are work-related, sports-related, and injuries from motor vehicle accidents.
Hugo strongly believes in listening and understanding the conditions experienced by each patient in order to provide catered care to help treat and address individual needs. Along with treatments, Hugo also believes in empowering his patients to participate in their own recovery through therapeutic exercises and stretches, and other homecare modalities.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. You can find him taking evening walks around the neighbourhood and having wine and cheese in his backyard on the weekend.
