MASSAGE THERAPIST - RMT
Having a background in competitive dance, Rita has always had an interest in injury rehabilitation and how the body supports us in doing the things we love. Rita graduated from the University of Victoria with a BA in Psychology and from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy to become an RMT. She understands the importance of mind-body balance and that causes of pain can often be multifaceted. Rita is dedicated to helping others improve their quality of life and provides patient-centred care by tailoring each treatment to her patient’s goals and using a variety of techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, and myofascial release. She has had experience working with sports-related injuries, headaches, general aches and pains, as well as a variety of orthopaedic and systemic conditions. In her spare time she enjoys taking her dog out for walks, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
